Elementary Education IA Pathway

Complete all Institutional Graduation Requirements

Elementary Education [with Instructional Assistant (IA) Pathway] is a minimum 74 graded credit hour degree. A grade of “C-” or better is required for each course counting towards the major, but a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 is required for completion of the major. S/U courses may not be elected for program requirements. Program available in on-campus/online hybrid modality. This pathway is determined through a formal transcript review and with the College of Education professional Advisor.  

Students declaring the Elementary Education major must complete one of the following;

• An AAOT + AA Transfer Pathway   OR 
• The Multidisciplinary Studies Major   _{(double majoring in Elementary Education and Multidisciplinary Studies)}

NOTE: Prior to beginning the IA Pathway program, candidates must clear the TSPC fingerprinting, and background check in the state of Oregon.
