AA Transfer Pathway

Undergraduate (B.S. or B.A.)
Elementary Education & Special Education Teacher Licensure Programs
Through the Associates of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT) or the Oregon Transfer Module (OTM) or out-of-state equivalent, students can take classes that fulfill lower-division and General Education Core requirements. Then, transfer to EOU to complete upper-division coursework that leads to a bachelor’s degree and a career in teaching.
To meet program requirements & Oregon TSPC standards, all classes must be college-level and must be taken for a letter grade of C- or better. The following subjects are coursework requirements for admission to the undergraduate Elementary Education or Special Education Teacher Licensure Program.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Humanities/Language Arts: (4) courses
- Social Sciences: (2) courses
One course must include content pedagogy encompassing the following: Race/Ethnic Studies & U.S. History, U.S. History & The Struggle for Civil Rights, or teaching about Civil Right History in the U.S. MATH 211 MATH 212 MATH 213 - Science: (3) courses *Labs must include concurrent, accompanying course to be considered.
- Art/Health/Fitness: (2) courses
- Foundations of Education
