The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Business is a Bachelor’s completion degree program leading to supervisory and management roles within one’s technical fields and is available for students who have successfully completed an Associate of Applied Science degree. This unique transfer-friendly degree-completion program was designed specifically for transfer students who have technical/ professional (CTE) or associate’s degrees and who do not have readily available pathways to a bachelor’s degree in their career field. The upper-level coursework includes applied management, leadership development, finance, and human relations and will broaden the student’s knowledge of applied business practices. Generally, a Bachelor of Applied Science degree prepares graduates to enter the job market in entry-level or mid-level management positions. The BAS in Business is not intended to prepare students for graduate school entry.
