Program Objectives
The MSW degree is a highly versatile degree that employers seek out to provide services across multiple fields of practice (i.e. mental health agencies, social services agencies, schools, hospitals, community centers, aging services, child welfare services, behavioral health, substance abuse, and non-profits).
The Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Educational Policy Accreditation Standards (EPAS) serve as the foundation of the proposed program. The EPAS are the learning outcomes of the proposed program and the program is designed to meet all the CSWE standards of advanced practice social work.

Means of Assessment
Each learning outcome will be assessed twice each year for review and submission to CSWE. An assessment plan and system for yearly assessment and program evaluation will be developed to evaluate the program/curriculum, student performance and development toward mastery of course outcomes and CSWE EPAS. A yearly program evaluation will be completed, which is a necessary part of CSWE accreditation and maintenance.
