MATH 344 - Modern Algebra I

An introduction to group theory. Topics covered include construction of examples, normal subgroups, factor groups, the homomorphism theorem, and group actions. This course is the same as the previous MATH 447: Abstract Algebra at EOU.

Prerequisites: MATH 382. Students must have at least sophomore standing to register for this course.
