Sustainable Communities Major [BAS]

Complete all Institutional Graduation RequirementsBAS students complete 45 general education credits.

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Communities requires a minimum of 79-80 credits to complete the major. A grade of “C-” or better is required for each course counting towards the major, but a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.00 is required for completion of the major. S/U courses may not be elected for program requirements. [On-campus only major]

An Associate of Applied Science or Equivalent transfer degree (90 transfer credits) is required to declare this program.

The BAS in Sustainable Communities is not intended to prepare students for graduate school entry.

Sustainable Communities Electives: 16 credits


Take 16 credits from the following lists of courses:

AGRI, CSS,  FW & RNG courses are provided by Oregon State University (OSU) on Eastern Oregon University’s Campus. Enrollment for the course is through OSU, students must be an active student at OSU to enroll.

Total credits required for major: 79-80
