SPED 324 - Classroom and Behavior Management, II Credits: 4
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to more advanced classroom and behavior management strategies. Emphasis will be on the effective implementation of positive behavioral intervention and support plans and the role played by functional behavior assessment, multi-level behavioral interventions that include positive and reductive behavioral strategies (i.e., token economy and response cost systems, group contingencies, behavioral contracts, etc…), schoolwide positive behavioral interventions and supports, and peer mediation and support.
Prerequisites: Admission to Program.
