SPAN 425 - Translation Theory/Practice Credits: 4
This combined seminar and workshop provides hands-on practice in literary translation. Students are introduced to aspects of translation theory through selected readings. Course emphasizes the differences in translating different literary genres.
Prerequisites: Advanced ability to understand spoken and written Spanish. SPAN 344 or SPAN 345 or other literature course required. Students must have at least junior standing to register for this course.
