SPAN 351 - Latin America Through Film Credits: 4
This course seeks to introduce students to the historical and cultural text of Latin America as it is represented through film. The films selected for this course reflect a wide range of thematic and cinematographic approaches. The multicultural fabric of the region, as represented by the ethnic and linguistic differences of the films, guarantees the viewer a sensory journey through Latin America.
Prerequisites: SPAN 209 or equivalent reading, writing, and speaking ability. Students must have at least sophomore standing to register for this course.
