Master of Science in Education w/Trauma in Educational Communities Concentration

Master of Science in Education - Trauma in Education Communities Concentration is a 36-graded credit hour degree.
A minimum grade of “C” is required in all courses counting toward the degree and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 is required to complete the degree.
All courses need to be taken within 10 years of degree completion
Upon approval of the program coordinator, a maximum of 12 credits may be transferred from another institution into the Master of Science program and counted toward either the concentration or electives.
Admission into the MS in Education program is required for this concentration.

Teacher Research Core: 15 credits
Trauma in Educational Communities Courses: 15 credits
Complete the following 15 credits required for the Trauma in Educational Communities Concentration
Elective Courses: 6 credits
Students select coursework from other concentrations to fulfill elective credits. Prerequisites apply for some courses.
Other graduate level education coursework may be approved by the program coordinator. Initial Teacher Preparation and CTE coursework will not be approved for the MS in Education program.
Completing two concentrations automatically fulfills the electives requirement.
