BIOL 385 - Bioinformatics


Credits: 4

This course will introduce students to topics in bioinformatics and computation methods that are used in biological sequence data and its applications. Topics will include coding using Ubuntu, learning how to access publicly available scientific data from GenBank, how to use BLAST to study sequence data, and how to perform introductory computational analyses locally and in the cloud.
