BIOL 346 - Marine Biology Credits: 3
As our climate changes, dramatic changes are being observed in the oceans and marine environments across the globe. These changes have impacted marine ecosystems and directly alter human communities and the abundance and distribution of marine organisms. These changes affect primary production, tourism, cultural practices, recreation, and biodiversity. This course will explore the marine environment and the organisms that inhabit the oceans, near-shore and estuarine areas and changes being driven by global climate change.
