The course explores the role of a cinematographer in motion picture production and emphasizes the application of the fundamental concepts, technologies and techniques of cinematography used in the visualization of narrative film including film and digital cameras, shot composition, lighting and exposure, color and contrast, continuity and on-set protocols.
