CH 431 - Alcohol & Drugs: Prevention


Credits: 4

This course is intended to provide a basic theoretical understanding of the primary and secondary prevention of alcohol and drug problems and a recognition of major issues involved in developing prevention programs. Topics include risk-focused prevention strategies, evaluation of current prevention programs, and public policy and alcohol and drug prevention. This course is the same as the previous HWS 431/PEH 431: Alcohol & Drugs: Prevention at EOU. Students must have at least junior standing to register for this course.
