SPED 309A - Practicum I: Professional Introduction to the School Year

This structured practicum is an opportunity for students to participate in the public-school setting, determined by the placement coordinator, during the beginning weeks of the school year. Students will assist the Mentor Teacher (MT) for the first 15 contract days and engage in all activities of a classroom teacher including in-service, classroom preparation, and initial teaching experiences.
